2022 Annual Dinner

After a two-year hiatus due to the global pandemic, the Annual Dinner for the Massachusetts Chapter of ABOTA was held on March 9, 2022 at the State Room in Boston. Martin J. Rooney, President of MassABOTA, welcomed everyone who gathered on a snowy night in Boston. Christopher A. Duggan, National Representative, then introduced ABOTA National President Lewis Sifford as the evening's special guest. Mr. Sifford shared a few remarks with fellow members.

Barbara Hayes Buell was honored to present the James N. Esdaile, Jr. Award for Civility, Professionalism and Excellence to Edward D. McCarthy.

Mr. Duggan was equally delighted to present the Emma Fall Schofield Judicial Award to the Honorable Debra A. Delvecchio.

Mr. Rooney then introduced the new officers for the upcoming year: Dana A. Zakarian, President; Kathy Jo Cook, Vice-President; Russell X. Pollock, Secretary; and Barbara Buell, Treasurer. Mr. Zakarian concluded the evening’s celebrations with the presentation of President’s plaques to Mr. Rooney, Marianne C. LeBlanc and Susan M. Bourque. He thanked all three past presidents for steering the organization during a challenging time and continuing the work of MassABOTA.
